America Is Watching.org is a website for people who care about equal
protection under the law as stated in the 14th amendment to the U.S.
Constitution, and  "liberty and justice for all" as stated in the Pledge of
Allegiance.  The 14th amendment to the U.S. Constitution states: "nor shall any
state deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of
law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the
laws."  However, we live in a country where in many instances, that statement
isn't true.  We know that most people in America care about their fellow
citizens, and are upset when they hear of an injustice, based on racism or
ignorance.  However, many people say, "that's too bad, but what can one
woman or man do about it?" ONE PERSON CAN DO A LOT!  That's why this
website came into being.  We will put stories on the website to call them to
your attention.  We will provide all the information we can find to help you do
what you can as one person to spread the word about the situation.  When
national attention is finally focused on an injustice, and the local jurisdiction
handling the case knows America is Watching, we hope they end up doing the
